Kaylin Whitney Just Misses Making U.S. Team In 200 - World Youth 22.47 Record!

Rising high school senior Kaylin Whitney placed fourth in the Senior Women's 200m at the USA Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Oregon on Sunday, running 22.47 to break her own World Youth record. Last summer at Hayward Field, Whitney won the 2014 World Junior title in the 200 meter dash with a then World Youth record time of 22.49.

Now running professionally for Nike, Whitney in a post-200 meter finals interview talks about being disappointed to miss out on top three to make the U.S. team for the 2015 IAAF World Championships in Beijing (though could be part of relay pool) and her impressions of Candace Hill, who ran 10.98 to break her national high school record in the 100 meter dash last weekend.
