It's one thing to run a fast 800m against competition.

It's completely another to score a SOLO a historically-fast 800m and win by over 10 seconds.

But that's exactly what Mount De Sales (MD) Academy sophomore Juliette Whittaker did on Friday at the Fastrack Last Chance Meet in Staten Island, New York, running an incredibly aggressive race on the 200m banked track at the Ocean Breeze complex and finishing with a US No. 3 all-time performance of 2:03.01.

Less than an hour earlier, in Boston, Stevens Point (WI) High School sophomore Roisin Willis had run a US No. 3 all-time mark of 2:03.05 in the 800m.

Whittaker didn't take long to surpass it.

But the incredible part is that she beat her second-place competitor by 13 seconds. And she posted a personal indoor best by over four seconds, passing her former PR of 2:07.54 from December.

Whittaker's indoor season has been historically special thus far. She posted a US No. 8 all-time effort of 2:45.49 in the 1K in February at her Private School Championships.

She also owns PRs of 4:43.89 in the mile and 10:23.14 in the 3,200m.

She's currently US top five in five events and either US No. 1 or US No. 2 in four events.
