It was a wild ride to the finish over National Performer of the Week honors for the period spanning between February 24 to March 1.

A total of over 6,600 votes were tallied and both Fleetwood's (PA) Jeff Kline and Newcomerstown's (OH) Hunter Garretson received well over 2,000 votes each.

But it was Garretson who claimed victory for Week 9 on Friday with over 40-percent of the vote following his major PR in the pole vault, where he secured a personal best 17-foot clearance at the University of Akron's Zips Last Chance High School qualifier. Garretson also went on to win the OATCC Division 2/3 Championship on Saturday with height of 16-6.

A big congrats goes out to Garretson on the honor.

Now let's get to Week 10. Vote for whom you think should win this week's national honor following a big week of action. Voting will end Friday, and we'll recognize the winner every Monday during the unveiling of the newest poll.

Below we have 10 boys nominees for this week's top honor. Vote below in the poll and let us know your thoughts in the comments. For reference, check out our Top 25 Indoor Performances of the Week and our Top 10 Outdoor Efforts. You can also vote in our National Girls Performer of the Week poll
