Tatum Richards Wins The Woman's Pole Vault At Patriot Invite

The patriot invite on Saturday included some of Idaho top woman pole vaulter in the state of Idaho with last years 4A state champion in Tatum Richards , 5A state champion Eva Lowder and 5A runner up Suzi Woodall. In this early season match up Tatum Richards took the patriot Championship the vaulter from Emmett cleared the bar at 11-06.0. 

In the Matchup between champions, it came down to a jump off between Richards and Lowder the reigning Defending champions in the 4A and 5A in their first meeting this season Richards finished above the rest Centennial High School Eva Lowder cleared the bar at 11-06.0. Boise High Schools Suzi Woodall clears the bar at 11-00. Rounding out the top four in Saturday's competition was another pair of Boise High School Pole Vaulters with Michaela Gier clears the bar at 10-05 and Freshman Mia Nelson with a personal best mark for the season clears bar at 10-00. 

      

Tatum Richards will be Traveling to California next week to compete at the Mt.Sac Relays.

What's next? The Boise Relays at Dona Larsen park the current number one girls pole vaulter in the state will join the mix as Abbie Scott from Rigby High School will bring her season best mark of 12-00 to town. This event will feature six of the top ten vaulters in the state of Idaho. This will definitely be an event to watch next Saturday in Boise.
