My training for XC started Mid-June.

My favorite race this year was at Silverwood, because I broke 16 minutes for the first time despite it being early in the season.

I like the Silverwood course for its speed, but I like the Eagle Island course because it is challenging, and also both places put on quality meets.  A course I don't care for much is Hayden Canyon, which we ran mid season, but it turned out to be measured wrong by almost a quarter mile.

My last race was at the NXN NW regional, in the Varsity race. My conditioning was the best it had been all year and my legs felt great, but I faded towards the end because of a really bad lung cramp. I finished 4th.

I might do a couple indoor meets, but nothing serious. I am just starting back running and weights because a sore Achilles tendon forced me to take a month off.

I am extremely excited for outdoor and my biggest goals this year are to break our 1600 and 3200 school records, 4:19 and 9:20. Also, I want to place well at state.

I haven't looked into colleges yet. I am thinking somewhere that doesn't get snow, because while I don't mind the cold, a lot of snow makes running tough. Maybe ASU, U of O, or Stanford.

I haven't decided what to major in yet, but I am interested in Philosophy, Nutrition, Business, or anything running related. I am homeschooled, but I currently duel-enroll part time at North Idaho College, and am planning on getting my associates degree by the time I graduate from high school.
