Boys Recap: Eric Fitzpatrick Dominates in Course Record
In an Oregon Super-Meet, Boise High senior and national sensation Eric Fitzpatrick runs away from the field over a tough 5000 meter course. Running all alone Fitzpatrick wins by over a minute with a blazing new course record 15:50.66. Breaking the old course record (16:01) in dominating fashion, Fitzpatrick heads into the Northwest Super Invitational on the NW NXN Region course with alot of hype. Boise would also win the team title with 33 points.
Girls Recap: Boise dominates team championship
The Southern Idaho #2 team Boise girls ran wild in Hermiston winning the team championship with 39 points. Placing the top five varsity scorers in the top 14, Boise looks forward to a rematch against Southern Idaho #1 Mountain View at the upcoming Bob Firman Invitational. Boise was paced by junior Kate Jamboretz, who finished 2nd in 19:13.66.
