He stands as the greatest coach in Idaho prep cross country history. Owning 11 state championships and 1 national championship over a 10 year run from 1980 to 1990 Conley defined an era for Idaho cross country. He is simply known as the legend, Bob Conley.
The ID#1 Highland Rams are the defending boys champions for three years running. Currently ranked #1 in the state should bring a slew of local competitors. Individual standout Dallin Farnsworth is currently ranked #1 in Southern Idaho Rankings with a recent 15:42.70 showing at the Bob Firman Invitational. he is fast approaching the dominant level of his brother and stepping into his own. Look for Highland to field a complete team and challenge for a fourth title in as many years. Rams standout ID#7 Kylie Hutchison is currently ranked #7 overall in the state and should battle with Eagle standout ID#2 Liz Brandon for the individual title. Time will tell if Highland can field a team to defeat the tough Eagle team who has been victor at last years meet.
