Post Falls Senior Anna Peters runs away with State Title

Post Fall High School Senior Anna Peters has been dominant all season long and it was no different on the biggest stage of the season during the Idaho State Championships in Lewiston Idaho. Peters came out determined to set the pace early ultimately pushing herself to a sub seventeen 5,000 a Milestone that only twenty-three other high school girls have done so far, this cross-country season. Peters time of 16:56.1 ranks her number one in the state of Idaho and 17th nationally. Her 16:56.1 Is the fastest time ran at an Idaho State competition, yet her time is not her best mark. In 2021 Peters ran her personal best of 16:53.0 at the Inland Empire Challenge.
