Sophia Clark Voted Performer of the Week for Idaho

Week two girls @milesplitidaho Performer of the week goes to Junior Sophia Clerk from Boise High School with over 56 percent of the Fan vote powered by @fanpowersports


Clark has established herself as one of the sprinters to look out for this 2023 outdoor season posting some impressive early season times and planting herself on top of the state ranking. In the 100 meter Clark ran a Idaho leading 12.61, she followed her opening race by later outrunning the competition with a time of 26.35 in the 200 meters. To cap the chilly evening in Meridian Idaho Clark helped Her @boisexctf 4x400 relay run a blazing early season state leading time of 4:09.72 with a split of 59 seconds in comparison the next fastest relay time is 4:18.75.


Congratulations to this junior speedster and we look forward to see more her as the season moves along.Look out for our week 2 performer of the week , this weeks meets start of Wednesday with Merian and Borah in action at Meridian High School.

Freshman Brianna Avalos from Rocky Mountain High School finished 1st in the 100 Meter , 200 meter and the girls long jump she is the current state leader in the long jump.

Senior Asia Lawyer from Centennial High School won the 100 meter and the 200 meter currently she ranked number two in the state in both races after week 1.

Junior Sophia Clark from Boise High school won the 100 meter , 200 meter and was part of the Boise 4x400 team that won. Currently she is the state leader in the 100 and 200 and her relay team is the state leaders in the 4x400.

Sophomore Sydney Hyde from Mountain View High School took 1st place in all her field events winning the long jump , triple jump and high jump she is the state leader in the triple jump at the moment.

Senior Maddie Romberg from Borah High School is the state leader in both the shot put and discus. She place 1st in both her events this past week.
