Timberline look forward to season with increased turnout.



Thursday Track & Field action brings us some awesome meets throughout the state, one of the meets to watch includes Boise High School Vs Timberline Dual.

Last season the Boise Girls won the 5A State Championship and Timberline placed 2nd. With the Recent success the Wolves program has increased its numbers with one of the highest turnouts of student athletes in years.

On the Girls side there are many athletes who will contribute for the team. On the sprints side you have Elli Lewis, Stella Hart and Ella Boson leading the way in the 100 meter. In the 200-meter freshman are leading the way including Stella Hart, Kodie Reade and Evelyn Myers and Joceyln Deloney. In the distance Tylee Smith , Josie Walters and Jamie Roldan lead the way in the 800 meter early on this season. Freshman Emma Bellomy is the top 1600 runner so far this season. In the 300 Hurdles Lauren Mccall and Ella Boson Will look to lead the wolves this season. This season in the throws Zarah Aitchison, Keara Graham lead the throws and also look out for Avery Navest to score some points for the Wolves she is coming back from competing at indoor Nationals. High jump includes freshman Emily Faylor and Navest. The Long and Triple Jump will include state placer Ashlyn Sandow who will lead the jump this season.

The Timberline boys also include some standout athletes this season who will help the boys this season. Seniors Casey Crumley and Nico Mann look to lead the 800 meters for the Wolves. In addition to Crumley and Mann, Hunter Marlatt will also contribute to the distance squad. Returning athletes on the sprint side Include Dominique Salinas, Cole Stoddard and Evan Meseenhiemer-Molet. Molet will lead the charge for the boys in the 400 meter , sophomore Zachary Booth and junior Ethan Alexander. In the 3200 sophomore Wil Ihmels returns with the best time from last season. In the Hurdles Zayne Davis , Enrique Lozano and Jason Honell lead the pack in the Hurdles. Alex Lowe, Aj Lebeau top the high jump for this season. In the Pole Vault Ian Kahler and Rowan Ricks have the high marks in this event. Finally In the long and triple Jump Alex Lowe and Enrique Lozano lead the jumps crew.
