Claire Petersen Idaho Track & Field Top Athlete of the Week

Skyline High School Claire Petersen showcased her talents on Friday in Orem Utah during the Early Bird Invitational boasting top times that put her at the top of the Idaho Rankings in Multiple events. Last season The State Champion in the 100 Meter and 300 Hurdles reminded us why she is one of Idaho's top runners. During the Early Bird Invitational Claire placed third in the 100 meters with a time of 12.45 , In the 200 Meters Petersen ran a time of 25.16 placing third overall. Finally Petersen placed first overall in the 100 hurdles , she ran a impressive early season time of 15.39. A time that will be one to beat during the season.

All of Petersens marks from Friday have moved on to number one in the ranking for the 100M . 200M and 100M hurdles. Congratulations on such an impressive performance this Friday. Petersen and the Skyline Grizz travel to Madison Idaho for the Bobcat Dual.
