In what was supposed to be a dual between Rocky Mountain High school and Boise High School has turned into a Tri Meet due to Meet cancellations across Idaho State. A top Team has joined the mix as Capital High School was added to compete Friday at Timberline High School. The addition creates a meet that included last year's Boys State Champions Rocky Mountain Boys, Last Years Idaho Girls State Champions Boise Brave girls. and a team in the Eagles that includes Top athletes in all events.  

The Boise Brave Boys take down the defending Champion Rocky Mountain Boys track and field team in Tri Meet. The Brave had victories in the 100M and 200M by Sprinter Cooper Smith. In the 400M Rocky Mountain Runner Aiden Thayer ran 52.28 to in front of 2nd place finisher from Boise Joe Kreizenbeck who ran a personal best time of 53.19.



On the Distance side junior Kaden Helder ran his season best time with a 2:02.03. The 1600M featured some of the state's top runners as Rocky's Tyler Sainsbury ran an Idaho best and Top 15 time of 4:10.79. Teammate Landon Heemeyer crossed the line at 4:17.61 and rounding out the top three scoring points for Boise was junior Noe Kemper with a time of 4:23.00 a season best time for him. Noe kemper also competed in the boys 3200M run with a season best time of 9:44.05 this time was good enough for first place. Cody Lucas for Rocky was just shy of Kemper Lucas ran a time of 9:44.25.



In the Hurdles we show victories from Crew Kelson (interview)  in the 110 hurdles and 300 hurdles. the lone scorer for the brave was sophomore Jordan
Mcdonald.


Next on the track the brave where able to capture wins in both the 4x100 and 4x200 relays. Their 4x100 team consisted of Cooper Smith , Tucker
Leigh, Cael Williams and Robert Terenzio. For the 4x200 the team of Smith, Leigh, Joe Kreizenbeck and anchor Cael Williams. (Interview) 

           

Boise's 4X800 started the day off with a win over rocky with a team consisting of Owen Andree, Evan Fornander, Oliver Peine and Jamison Mckinney. (Interview)

  

Cater Read Took 2nd place in boys shot put with a toss of 39'8. Next teammate Joseph Curtis finished 2nd in discus with a throw of 112'5 and Kurt Robinson scored points with a throw of 109'6.5.
