The 2023 Patriot Invite was one for the books , Hosted by Centennial High School this invite hosted some of the top athletes from across the state of Idaho with over 19 teams and 600 athletes this meet proved to be the meet of the week in the state. If you love track and field and wanted to see top athletes compete this was the place to be.
On the Field Side you had the Male Field Athlete of the Meet Kai Twaddle-Dunham From Centennial High School Broke his school record in the boys discus with a toss of 172-9 with a massive toss on his final attempt he also won the boys Shot Put with a toss of 54-10.
The Girls Field Athlete of the Meet was Borah High School's Maddie Romberg She went 117-8 in the girls discus and 37-6 in the girls Shot.
The Track was on fire at Centiential High School showcases some of the state's best sprints and distance runners. This year's Patriot Invite Track athlete of the meet on the Male side was host team sprinter and jumper Jacob Webster, Webster won the 100 running 11.07 and 200 in 22.20 along with the long jump of 22-6. He was also part of his second place 4x100 team.
The Girls Track athlete of the meet was Rocky Mountain High School's Ciara Brown who won the 100 in a time of 12.44 and the 200 with a time of 25.96. Brown also was leadoff for the winning Rocky Mountain girls 4x100 relay team.
