Simplot Games Event Update

Back In 1978, Simplot Games was a small, regional meet with 600 athletes from six, Western states. Today, thirty-five years later, participation includes approximately 2,000 athletes from all over the United States and Canada. Here's a taste of what to see at this years Simplot Games.

Friday started off well for Team Idaho!

Team Idaho's 4x200 A squad of Ian Keys, Levi Hagen, Kade Ready, and Josh Wallin finished well qualifying for Saturdays A Finals. In the Boys 60m, Kevin Wang finished to advanced to 60m dash. In the boys 400m, Josh Wallin held off two runners advancing to finish with a 50.73 and move on to tomorrows finals. In the Boys 800m, Jordon Wallin had an easy win to advance, setting up a great opportunity to run iwth Tyler Smith of Canada who posted an easy 1:55.64. Team Idaho A group of Josh Wallin, Levi Hagen, Kade Ready and Conrad took 1st qualifiers in the Sprint Medely Relay.

On the girls side, Allison Jeffries qualified in the girls 60H. Here's a list of the top 4 in each race.
