Noteworthy District Results

May 13, 2022

While not all events have been contested to this point, there are some district competitions that have been completed while others will finish today. Below are the performances that cracked the state's top 10 that were achieved at district competitions through Thursday, May 12. The boys and girls 4x800's headline the action, with the state leaders on both sides coming from District 3 (5A) yesterday at Kuna High School. On the girls' side, not only was the state leading mark achieved (Boise, 9:22.68), the top four times in the state came from that race with six out of the top 10 in all. On the boys' side, Rocky dropped the first sub-8:00 of the season (7:58.47) to take the outright state lead. In that same race, second through fifth place were separated by less than a second and a half and are the #2-#5 state performances. In the girls' high jump, Kloie Ward of Kimberly (District 4 3A) tied for the state-lead with her clearance of 5-04.
