Idaho high school athletes posted several personal records across multiple meets during the week of March 9.
Beatrice Grant (Bishop Kelly, Boise) ran 12:19.65 in the 3200 meters at the Columbia Opener on March 12, improving from her previous best of 13:43.21 set in April 2025. The time places her 114th among 417 athletes in Idaho and earned her fifth place among 13 competitors. Grant also set a personal record in the 1600 meters, running 5:53.26 after entering with a best of 6:29.97.
Keaton Monsen (Century, Pocatello) clocked 10.92 in the 100 meters at the Century TRI on March 12, dropping from his previous personal record of 11.93. The time ranks 16th among 3,314 boys in Idaho and placed him second among 77 competitors.
Stuart Fielding (Rigby) ran 11.22 in the 100 meters at the Century TRI, improving from 11.89 set in April 2025. The mark places him 87th in Idaho and seventh among the 77-runner field. Fielding also posted a personal record in the long jump with a leap of 18-5, improving from his previous best of 1-2.
Eva Pinney (Timberline, Boise) cleared 5-6 in the high jump at the Wolves v Patriots Dual on March 12, bettering her previous best of 5-0 from May 2025. The clearance establishes a new school record for Timberline and ranks third among 401 girls in Idaho. Pinney also ran a personal record 17.16 in the 100-meter hurdles, improving from 17.29.
Lily Yeakley (Parma) ran 12.14 in the 100 meters at the Parma Ice Breaker on March 12, improving from her previous best of 12.72. The time sets a new school record for Parma and ranks seventh among 2,309 girls in Idaho. Yeakley won the event in a field of 42 competitors.
Damian Holguin (Vallivue, Caldwell) ran 11.09 in the 100 meters at the Emmett/Vallivue/Nampa meet at Middleton on March 12, dropping from 11.75 set in April 2025. The time ranks 43rd in Idaho and placed him second among 76 competitors.
Marcus Searle (Blackfoot) clocked 11.20 in the 100 meters at the Twin Falls Jersey Mike's spring opener on March 12, improving from 11.99 set in April 2025. The mark places him 74th among Idaho boys and fourth in a field of 59 runners.
