Bob Firman Invitational 2014

On every Friday, MileSplit US will feature a Q&A interview with a top high school athlete called "Friday Focus". The first edition starts with Sky View (Smithfield, UT) senior Conner Mantz, who won the Bob Firman Invitational last weekend with the fastest 5K time in the country in 14:51.

It was a Davis High School of Utah sweep at the Bob Firman Invitational from the two nationally ranked teams from the same school. Meanwhile, Makena Morley bounced back from her loss last week at the Mountain West Classic in a big way by setting a new course record with her 17:24 5K run.
